Historical Dog and Cat Paintings from Around The Globe

This blog was inspired by research for another blog, and I thought it would be good to show a few cat and dog paintings from different countries and different times. There were so many to choose from, and I tried to find ones that, even if the cat or dog isn’t the main subject, at least it’s not a tiny part of the painting.

Not a lot of writing in this one - it’s purely a feast for the eyes.
